Background

Welcome
I offer counseling from the heart and mind, working together with you as the expert about your own feelings. I bring a non-judgmental, gender-affirmative, intersectional approach to our work together. I work from an attachment perspective and with a contextual awareness, where we consider all the structures that help and hinder you: family, society, relationships, whatever your important frameworks are. I work within the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach. Please visit my website for more details about who I am and how I work, at www.natashadistiller.com
Additional thoughts
I have a deep knowledge of and expertise in non-binary thinking, with a PhD in Gender Studies and many years experience teaching and writing in the field. I can help with many ways of being outside of a box, from exploring transgender and non-binary identities to coming out to redefining your sense of self. I also have an interest and experience in LGBTQ families and in parenting issues.
