Background

Welcome
Welcome! I’m Jared (he/they), a licensed clinical psychologist and Certified Sex Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist Supervisor in San Francisco offering a compassionate, affirming space for individuals and couples. My practice is rooted in providing sex-positive, poly-friendly, and kink-aware therapy and specializing in LGBTQIA+-affirming care, psychosexual concerns, and relationship dynamics. I believe in meeting clients where they are with a nonjudgmental approach, helping you explore your identity, relationships, and mental health in a supportive, safe environment. Whether you’re navigating issues related to sexuality, gender, or emotional well-being, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, blending humanistic, feminist multicultural, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. Together, we’ll work toward healing, self-acceptance, and personal growth.
Additional thoughts
In my practice, I focus on creating an inclusive and affirming environment where clients from all walks of life can feel safe and supported. I am deeply committed to serving the LGBTQIA+ community and those in polyamorous, open, and kink-involved relationships. My therapy approach is collaborative and person-centered, ensuring that your voice and needs are at the core of our work together. I blend evidence-based techniques with a compassionate, nonjudgmental perspective, integrating elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic principles, and feminist multicultural approaches to provide holistic care.

As someone who identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand the importance of having a therapist who truly “gets it.” I strive to be that support, offering a space where you can explore complex issues around identity, sexuality, relationships, and mental health without fear of judgment. Whether working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, or psychosexual concerns or supporting those in relationships seeking greater intimacy and connection, I am dedicated to helping you live authentically, heal deeply, and thrive fully.
