Alliance Health Project, 1930 Market Street, San Francisco
6.0 CE Credits

This workshop provides an introduction to the use of Motivational interviewing (MI) in the psychotherapeutic treatment of clients facing concerns around their alcohol and other drug use. Many individuals who drink or use drugs can do so responsibly and with minimal impact to their lives and their environment. Using MI helps therapists work with clients to explore their ambivalence, and build awareness of their relationship to alcohol and other drugs. MI will supports clients’ self-efficacy and self-trust thereby building capacity for sustainable change. To read a more detailed description of the seminar, go here.

Registration is $250, with discounts for Gaylesta members ($200), Alliance Health Project employees ($200) and Interns (limited availability) ($150).
